I've decided to move my sketch blog to tumblr. I'm way more active and post a lot more sketches and other illustrations and junk over there. So the very few people that watch this blog, if you got a tumblr, check it out and dont hesitate to follow my madness.

Death Ship
Sometimes I amaze myself with how ridiculous my concepts can get, and then naming them. How clever >_>...
Catwoman - Reworked
I had a few...complaints about this Catwoman fanart I made a few weeks ago. She was too thick, too chubby, small breasted, small hands...etc, etc. A few other nitpicks I did agree with though, and I still didnt do anything with that damn background. But whatever, so I reworked her a bit, hopefully we can all be slightly happy now.

William - character design
So I’m settling for this character’s look now. The character sheet is a little rough now (I did post the other one before, I believe…?) hopefully once (if I ever) sit down and start drawing this story, I will refine this character.

Catwoman
Was tired of working on my other stuff, so I made this to distract me.
Look at those background design skills!

Princess Zelda sketch
I’m going through a Zelda high. Beware.
But yea…I lost my rush with this one. Oh well, time to move on.

Link - Golden Power
I went to see the Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses some days
ago. It was amazing. It really inspired me to work on this.

Link sketch
Link is about to shoot you in the FACE!
Doodle during class. I think I'll paint color this one at some point.

William/Sinbad Jr.
Character design for a story I'm working on. loosely based on Treasure Island and Sinbad
Jr. (that awful Hanna-Barbera cartoon from the 50s-60s) 17th Century
English kid named William.

Mermaid WIP #1
Work in progress #1 (or #3, technically, I lost track) It's a mermaid character! threw some flat lines and colors on it. Gonna jump on something else for now. Like watching Transformers 3 on Netflix and banging myself in the head on how awful it is.

Jumping on that Korra bandwagon. A bit late, still…
Unlike the rest of the complains I see here, I never had a huge issue with the Mako/Korra pairing, it didnt ruin the experience for me dispate taking away from the main story.
I waited 12 episodes for Korra to go into Avatar state. Dammit I got what I wanted.

Bakery poster complete - sort of
Finally finished this one, or at least got it to a point it was okay to put it up and start on something else. I've been trying to keep that 1950s advertising feel to all my stuff at work. So far I feel like there's room for improvement, but I think I'm getting the hang of it.
Oh yea...he's totally looking at them boobies ;o

Life Study speed painting #2
Vimeo link in case it's blocked in your country - https://vimeo.com/44363278
I actually did not intended for this to be another speed recording. Just a quick 20 min. warm up. However, it turned into an hour exercise. I'm very rusty, but this is good practice. I added music to it this time. Honestly sitting through these without a sound is just unnerving and boring.

bakery poster - WIP
Feel like I've been posting too much about work and less from my personal stuff. Oh well.
This is something fun I managed to get started today. It's for the bakery section of my store (I work at Trader Joe's) There's no deadline on this, so I can finally take my time to get this right without rushing it.

Useless stuff I do at work
More stuff I do at work, in the same vein as the one from before, except this one was extremely rushed. Kinda wish I had more time to work on these things. And an un-used sign, because.

Flyer sign
Something I'm doing for my job. It's a bit messy, but because of the weird/tight deadlines and other stuff I gotta do, I need to move on after some minor edits, which is too bad, I was having fun. Just wish I had better markers and more colors to work with.

Octo-Samurai sketch dump
My "notes" at a work meeting today, and other junky sketches. Eventually, once I'm done with this
concept project, I'll be sick of drawing Samurai and tentacles. Maybe...

Sketches + thumbs galore
Planning out an illustration of the Octo-Samurai dude and his partner doing what they do best, robbing banks. Here are a few sketches, throwing ideas on what I wanted to do. It's going to be similar to thumb #3, except a little more dynamic, and probably more 'on-your-face' kind of view.
