limited palette practice

Something that started as just a warm up, ended up testing a limited color palette. I didnt time myself this time, I’d say roughly an hour and a half? Bet if I flip it I’d probably have a heart attack on how ugly it might be ._.

Speed painting + quick study

A Nintendo DS speed painting, which may or may not be She-Hulk. We'll never know----->Logic just left.

I was experimenting on how far I can push this style on anything. I feel someone will eventually will get fed up with so many lines going everywhere.

Experiment of the night

Some experiments end up working great (see Ironman below) Some other times, this happens. Not really happy as to how this was coming out so…maybe it’s the palette? Eh, moving on.

Lily

I can never get that painterly-feel on anything I do. Give up on this one for now. Maybe it's too saturated?

Old as dirt: Portrait on OpenCanvas

This is kind of old. 2006 ish or very early 2007. First time I was messing with OpenCanvas (Which I believe it has been replaced by Sai?) Anyway, it's very rough, but unlike the other old stuff, I dont think I want to remake this ever. It has issues of course, but I think it's fine by itself as it is. Uhhh anyway, I'll be posting several newer things this week, havent been able to scan/post anything I'm comfortable with.

Portrait quickie

I lost track of time, but probably around an hour and a half? I definitely need to work on my speed, but I like how this turned out so far.

ultra-fast sketch dump

these are 10-15 min sketches. I feel I have a decent control with the pencil/pen, but with a stylus? a small fish swimming with sharks, that's what I am. So here you go, trial and error.

I dont know who this is...

I was practicing painting and colors, cause really, I'm extremely terrible at that. It was supposed to be a self portrait. Quite frankly, that guy looks too good to be me.
