quick study

Umm, never been good at painting, picking the right colors, or speed.. I rendered this in about 2 hours, 2:30 maybe. Instead of going the B&W value route first, I jumped straight to color. It's hard, and I probably picked a hard ref picture. But I did learn a few things from this. Hopefully it's a step in the right direction.
